ABOUT US
European Buck Session is an international Krump dance competition. The debut of European Buck Session was in 2008 in Düsseldorf, hosted by Kofi Boachie and Kwame Osei. With the creator of Krump (Tight Eyez) as judge and a large number of dancers and spectators European Buck Session was a huge success and became an outstanding Krump event.
In the following year, the number of competitors and spectators doubled, so the decision was made to move the event to a larger location. In 2009 European Buck Session finally took place in “Tanzhaus NRW“, a well-known dance platform, with over 900 visitors which promptly made European Buck Session an internationally recognized Krump event.
Over the years the number of competitors continued to rise and reached its peak in 2012 with over 300 competitors and over 700 spectators. This exceptional stage caused the hosts to move the event to a concert hall in Oberhausen “Turbinenhalle“. So far European Buck Session is the biggest International Krump event held in Europe with competitors from all over the world. European Buck Session 2018 will be held in Düsseldorf “Tanzhaus NRW“ on the 30th September.
